Name: Jodi Frantics
[Jude] [Franny] [Fran] [Jo] [Captain]

Age: 19

D.O.B: May 4th

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Blood Type: B-

Weight/Height:126 pounds // 5 foot 2 inches

Rank/Meister:  Arcknight // Doctor/Knight

Camp: Shoki Sutoraiku

Squadron: Squadron One

Personality: She used to let others push her around to a certain extent until she had enough then she would turn vile and snap at whoever was pushing her about. Presently, she is very serious and hard-working, the past years having given  her a direction to carve a path into her career. While not entirely sociable or talkative, she's incredibly observant and tends to do things on her own or in her own way even if she was previously told by someone else to do it another way. She's remarkably stubborn and hard headed, though seems to manage to retain some form of humor. Though dry it may be. However she does have a compassionate and more merciful side to her. But don't expect to see it often; even from someone she loves unless that person is Kalen; whom she shows a strict loyalty and degree of respect for.

:bulletblack:People who think highly of themselves but don't have the skill or talent to be worth it
:bulletblack:Those who bully others
:bulletblack:Exceptionally bright days (the bright light hurts her eyes)
:bulletblack:Being told she is wrong.

Strengths:
+ She’s a perfectionist; hating leaving things unfinished or undone no matter how long it takes and never settles for fine or okay. Due to this she has a fueled determination and desire to be better than she is in whatever field needs work. Regardless of her rank, she will go to great extremes if she deems necessary to do so.
+ Despite her poor, limited sight, she does have a knack for spotting things out of the ordinary thanks to her perfectionist-artist mind. While one would think she has poor depth perception; she's also taught herself minor prediction during fights. Depending on the fighting style of the opponent she can sometimes predict what the opponent will do and where it will hit and how long it will take. So she's taught herself to become more agile to help dodge these possible attacks.
+ Jodi also has a semi-photographic mind, able to remember sequences, codes, and certain phrases along with certain plants and animals. Her mind imprints things of interest and importance and commits them to mind.

Flaws:
+ She can only see objects clearly for about fifty feet, anything beyond that is fairly blurred without her glasses. Writing at about 20 feet or so from her is exceptionally hard for her to read.
+ Has no religious views and therefore prefers to argue about science over religion and religion versus belief.
+ Isn’t too flexible as far as her upper half goes. Her legs are used to stretching but her back allows her to bend minimal distance and even then its a fairly slow reaction. Her reaction time is off by a few seconds of something happening so normally let’s say a ball is thrown at her, she wouldn’t catch onto it being there until it nearly hits her in the face. (However this delay has improved over the years as mentioned in her strengths)

Bio:
Jodi was born in Norway. A small town there near the coast is her birth home. As a small child she sat at the beach watching other townsfolk sailing on the ocean waves for sport and recreation. The town itself was pretty dismal and boring, mostly pirate themed but nothing much else came creatively from this town. Her family moved out to America sometime during her first grade year for a year or so and then they hopped back to Europe to live in Lisbon, Livorno, and Berlin. Her family had a bit of money to say the least, and were more than happy to do some travelling. She saw a few different cultures and learned snippets of some of the languages though most of the words were quickly forgotten upon moving to another country and city. Her mother however, became a little abusive and within a year it was worse. Jodi eventually found herself alone at home with her little brother and mother, having to protect him from her when possible. One night in Berlin her mother flipped out, telling them to get away from her. It was as if she were on the brink of insanity. Her mother pulled a large kitchen knife from the drawer and started ripping herself open in attempts to kill herself. Upon doing so, a demon left her mothers form though Jodi couldn’t see it. Horrified and unable to breathe she stared at her mothers torn and maimed form bleeding a horrid mess on the floor of the kitchen. The smell of ham in the air from the cooking.  She felt sick and unsure what to do. She turned tail and dragged her brother with her to her room, calling emergency services before her door smashed open. Immediately she blurted out help against some sort of monster, something she couldn’t see or understand.

Instead of normal police coming to her aid, some Exorcists belonging to the Berlin branch showed up. Jodi was curled around her younger brother, back to a beastly demon who was ready to strike. The night left an imprint on her mind. She wasn’t attacked so she still didn’t know what the creature looked like but she believed the exorcists it was a “demon” even though her non-religious views begged to differ.  But how else could a fourth grader explain something like that? The following months she demanded answers from them until they tried to explain to her what their job was. Even though she refused to believe it honestly she let them believe she understood and never saw the exorcists again. Her father had her pack up whatever she could for her and her brother and the three moved to Japan to get as far away from Berlin as possible. The Norway girl had a cruelly hard time adjusting to Japanese culture let alone the language. She learned quickly to keep her mouth shut about demons. She was instantly rejected and made fun of for it. Not sure how to get it out of her system she took up drawing and starting drawing things from the night of her mothers death. Most of the artwork regardless being related or not was morbid and dark. The girl started to get curious though and looked to books on cults, demons and exorcsists. The topic slowly intrigued her more and more and from this she started drawing and writing based on demons. Despite her mother supposedly performing suicide from the hand of a demon, she slowly accepted the creatures due to some books saying they weren’t all particularily evil, some were particularily helpful or nice.

Unfortunately, her father who WAS religious, started dragging her to church. Forgetting common courtesy of religion she brought her writings and drawings to church with her and was quickly kicked from the church. They even confronted her father about possibly giving her therapy which he knew wasn’t necessary thanks to her being perfectly normal. However, he figured the source of her darkness was the lack of a mother figure.  So the father tried to remarry for the sake of Jodi’s mentality and emotional well being. It didn’t help much but she wasn’t about to let him know that. He seemed happy. Though the further into her darkness she fell, the more worried about herself she became and insisted to the head of the church that they let her come by at least by herself after services to speak with the Pastor. When he learned of her current knowledge of demons he let her know about a school for exorcists. Remembering that the exorcists had protected her from harm of this... “demon” she decides to listen to what the Pastor has to say on this topic. After a few months she decides he might be telling the truth about this so called school for exorcists and lets him offer to give her some minor training. She then finds her weapon of choice were swords despite enjoying the idea of doctors. When she learned that some exorcists had two of these meisters she decided to become a doctor and a knight for means of defense or protection if needed. When he informed her there was enrollment open for the school, she brought it up with her father that she wanted to go to the high class school of true cross although she didn’t let him know she was signing up for cram school. The dumb, rich father signed off on it and let her go to True Cross.

Before she could get results back from her sign up, strange men arrived at her home wearing military-fashioned suits. Similar to the men who claimed themselves exorcists back in Berlin. Though when they mentioned they were the team that aided her in the incident, she squinted and shook her head. No. There had been more than the three before her now. The proclaimed leader of the trio calmly explained they were in a larger team yes, but these three were of a special association so secret that the Vattican didn't believe them to be a branch. While this theory was far-fetched in Jodi's mind, these were the men that saved her. Not ready to reject them just yet, she inquired their purpose for being there. Again the leader then states that they wanted to recruit her. Said they had been watching her train and learn. They enjoyed her hard-work ethic and determination. Her skill. Though with uncertainty she was ready to shake her head until they produced a large, heavy book to her. A book titled The Mabinogion, a very old Celtic Mythology book from old Welsh manuscripts. When she reached to take it, wanting to read the book, they moved it away from her and ushered her to go with them. That by taking this book she agreed to join them and keep secrecy.

Warily she went with them and found herself swearing into secrecy and loyalty after hearing their motives of connecting Assiah to Gehenna. Though the underlying darkness to this ideal was not yet something that was made aware in her mind. She was then bound to the book. The book being the key to power of old. So throughout the summer she balanced her training with the pastor and her time reading the Mabinogion. Jodi studied, reading it over and over again. Though the stories... weren't like the ones she remembered from being young. Her father used to tell her the stories about the Four Branches and about Lug Lamhfhada the Great Hero. But what she read in this book was not what she knew. Instead here, he was given many names she was unfamiliar with. The Knight of Light, King of the Tuatha De Dannan, a God, Fallon, and the ones that confused her most was The Dark Knight, and Morgant the King of Fomors. Jodi had never known Lugh to be... bad.

So when Jodi had finally  come to True Cross, most of her spare time had ended up spent in the infinite library of the school. Scanning and scouring to the depths of the books and journals and files for information on Lugh Lamhfhada. What she discovered was enough to support what the book claimed. Jodi also learned the Tuatha De Dannan was another name for a "Holy Land" which according to what she began to learn in Cram school was the equivelant of the Vattican. By being King, it was another way to title him Paladin. He was a Paladin of the seventeen hundreds. One who had bravely dispelled the Fomors from Tuatha De Dannan. A man who supposedly discovered Tir Na Nog (Paradise Land) which was the reason for the proclaimed title of God. But the one thing he was known for best was driving off Glas Ghaibhleann. The titled son of Lillith. A monster so destructive that supposedly the act of fighting off the beast cause Lugh to disappear for many years and was even assumed dead until a dreaded dark knight named Morgant arose with the same sword that only Lugh could wield; a sword that had dissappeared with him.

In the midst of her studies during the first year, demon Kings began to attack and things started to happen. She also started to get texts on her phone from the Illuminati asking her for small seemingly meaningless tasks. Like stealing documents or notes. Letters even. But she kept an organized list of the things she had taken, though not so obvious that one might pick it up and read it. But simply hidden beneath her artwork. Nothing was ever truly stolen that year. Never required to actually provide the true document; just the information. A document which would be "misplaced" and found by an official elsewhere. Jodi was careful to not get caught, though never expected to be watched by Kiyoshi. The half-demon pipe fox got onto some dirt with her, but she easily had dirt on him and black-mailed him to keep quiet about the sword techniques she was studying. Luckily he wasnt able to place the name to the symbol of the illuminati and put two and two together at the time.

After the attack from Iblis and the attack from Belial, things were a bit in chaos. But Jodi wasn't so dull as to avoid the Kirin who she persuaded into having things of the past be told to her as well as things of the future. Using her like a tool for her own reasons. It wasnt until the attack from Urian; king of lust that she discovered her underlying admiration for Archer Walker; a fellow class mate and teammate. But try as she might to avoid falling for any of Urians trickery and distractions, Jodi couldn't deny she'd been enlightened. During the trial of the lust king upon the school, the school suffered more. Crumbling a tad more and innocents were murdered. But Jodi had failed in her willpower against the king and left it to her fellow class mates and the higher ups present.

The school was in chaos even during the summer. Where there was time between the attack of Urian and the attack of Murmur; students were being evacuated, as well as many of the towns people of the surrounding True Cross Town. It was also then that the school gave the opportunity to any cram schoolers who wished to leave and go to another branch or to their families. Most didnt leave. In Jodi's eyes; luckily Archer hadn't left. Yet. But when Murmur attacked; king of Air and Illusion, he puppeteered several of the half breeds and revealed their demon blood. Turning Archer and many of the purists against their former friends and causing mutiny among the cram students. Archers purist thoughts reminded Jodi why she couldn't be in love with him. Because if she was to be of the Illuminati and if she told him, he would reject her surely. Call her a betrayal. This thought started to pester her mind and to hide it she threw on a stone stiff facade and dealt with the problems at hand head-strong.

With her resolve set in place, the next year happened. Camps were being set up as the later Kings attacked. Murmur, then the Brothers Grim of Mirihim and Belphegor. After the six Kings' reigns were over and defeated, things settled down and many of the cram school students departed to other branches to study abroad and train elsewhere. But Jodi was one of the few who refused to leave; watching Archer go before turning her back on any feelings she contained for him to focus on being a part of the clean up crew and working to rebuild the school.

Jodi went on to work under Kalens close watch and apprenticeship. A fellow knight. One she had enough trust in to ask for aid in refining her skills as a knight to better learn the methods of Lugh Lamhfhada. A person that Kalen couldn't place a face to but saw little reason to worry about it. The six years that followed in Camp Shoki as Kalens apprentice or in a way, replacement for Archer, were unforgiving and very harsh. But during the last two years, the more her skill grew, the more the Illuminati was in contact with her. They began arranging meeting places and sorts for conversation and to be undetected. Her first visit was to establish her "loyalty" to the Illuminati, despite the ever-growing urge in her heart that something wasn't right. But the visit afterwards wasn't for another six months. When Jodi had turned eighteen. She was to meet her mentor and was to cut off ties of training the skill methods with Kalen. But when she clicked in her head that she was the only one known to practice the methods aside from Lugh and his former Knights of Light, she put two and two together to resolve who stood before her. Without asking how he was alive, she promptly kneeled before him on one knee and allowed him to knight her a "Knight of Light". At which point, the more she trained under his instruction, he bestowed to her the legendary sword known as "Fragarach" or to some as Pragarah. A sword supposedly forged by the gods according to the Mabinogion but was also rumoured to grant the wielder some form of power of wind and could penetrate any armor or shield and leave an unrecoverable wound. But it was also supposedly somehow stated to be able to stab a person in the throat and that person would not be able to speak of lies for the remainder of their life. Though how thats possible? Jodi just assumed they'd be dead. But myths are myths, can't possibly be true right?

So here she even titles herself the Knight of Light but never declares herself a follower of Lugh Lamhfhada in case someone out there was aware of the darker deeds he committed as Morgant. She doesn't openly use the unique sword, only for private training and for some special cases or battles. While Kalen may have switched camps and left Jodi in charge of Shoki, Jodi still responds as being "lower" than Kalen. Also continued to do so after she turned the age of nineteen and was made an Arcknight by the Vattican after having taken the placement test for being considered as "one of the fours".

Accessories/Weapons:
+ Glasses
+ Sketchbook and writing journal
+ Double fluted short swords
+ Various Poisons and toxins
+ The Fragarach; a two handed sword. Astoundingly heavy to those who it does not "belong" to. In other words, those who are not Knights of Light or have been bestowed the sword by Lugh Lamhfhada. While not heavy enough to not be used, it will not grant the same benefit that it would the proper owner. If the sword is used against the said owner, the hilt grows white hot and burns the wielder with a "holy fire" until it is released or the attempt is swayed. Despite the rumors the sword can only penetrate MOST armors and shields. These are specified by holy and blessed armors being unable to be even scratched or dented by the sword. But the tough scaley hide of a dragon is no match, nor is typical steel metal and certain thicknesses of cement and cinderblock. The wound caused by the sword IS able to be recovered from but it requires the use of holy means like purification and holy water. So in the case of demons or half-demons tough luck; they need to find an alternative which is sometimes only available from Demon Kings and Lilith. The wind powers of the sword are activated promptly the way one would activate a demon sword or holy sword like Excalibur. But with a fierce vow the power can be prompted along with the skills added benefits; the power isnt all that strong but its enough to make slashing cuts in certain surfaces. But to get the entirety of the swords affect, one needs to pray to it while kneeling before it for a few moments. The effect will make the blade appear luminescent and give the slightest blurry illusion that the wielder has the wings of an angel. Its not always visible, especially in broad daylight the effect may be completely unseen. The effect has no significance aside to say that the wielder is a Knight of Light and is therefore a danger to the opponent. But the power that is prompted can charge for three strong slashes of wind to cut through buildings OR enough for a strike that cannot be protected by any armor or shield. Once either of these two things happens; the sword becomes a null and cannot be charged again until the wielder has regained their willpower. Unfortunately, Jodi becomes far too exhausted upon the use of the sword and is  easily an open target unless hauled away from the scene.

Additional Info:
+ Due to the scenario of how her mother died; the smell of cooking ham makes her feel sick and sometimes gag or even vomit.

Relationship:
:bulletorange: Father - The one with all the money. Some sort of investor and stock marketer. She has no real attachment to him but does enjoy his company when it’s offered.
:bulletorange: Mother - Developed a minor case of anger problems caused from stress. She succombed to a demon which she attempted to expel from herself to protect her family but only managed to kill herself.
:bulletorange: Step-Mother - Some nice little housewife who can’t conceive. She supports Jodi’s desire in art and writing along with her interests in science.
:bulletorange: Brother - A twelve year old who vaguely recalls the events of his mothers death though they were brief and not quite as gruesome as what Jodi remembers.
:bulletred: Love - Archer Walker; a stubborn dragoon who's known to be a "purist" and is very much against demons.
